The Thompson Trailbreakers Snowmobile Club was happy to announce in early January that the Paint Lake, Ospwagon, Nickel and Mystery Lake/Moak Lake Trails were groomed and open for riding. This year, the volunteer based club purchased a new Tucker Sno-Cat groomer to groom the 700 kms of snowmobile trails in the Thompson area which the club cares for. Pictured above (L-R) Steve Grandbois from Nickel City Motors joins Mike Heino JR from The Shop Industrial Inc as the keys are handed over to Kelly Martens, club president.
The Trailbreaker's trails are signed and mapped and have four warm up shelters and information kiosks. The club manages a new website and facebook page with area info and maps for residents and visitors.
As always, the club would like to remind snowmobilers to ride with caution and have fun!
