For a great camping experience, pitch your tent or park the RV in one of our fine parks or designated camping areas. The surroundings are rugged and natural, and you won't be able to get enough of the clean air, so plan to stay for a while. Fill the long summer days (daylight in July until 10 pm is not abnormal) with fishing, hiking, swimming and canoeing.
The facilities available at our campgrounds range from comfortably modern to adventurously remote. Some sites are only available by boat. In any case, know that whatever spot you choose you will only be a stone's throw from one of the hundreds of pristine lakes and rich pine-scented forests that characterize the area. Camping season in northern Manitoba is May Long Weekend (typically the 3rd weekend of May) to September Long Weekend (typically first weekend in September) for most campgrounds. Some campgrounds are open until October.
